Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the Movaroo mobile application or website (the “Service”) operated by Movaroo (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Movaroo is a moving organisation and inventory management application that allows users to track boxes and belongings using QR code labels, manage inventory, create moving checklists, and collaborate with team members. The Service is available on iOS and Android and via our website at movaroo.app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

3. Accounts

To access most features of the Service you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorised use of your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

Movaroo offers the following subscription tiers:

  • Free: Limited features, includes advertisements
  • Standard ($4.99/month): Enhanced features for small moves
  • Premium ($29.99/month): Full features for larger moves
  • Business ($49.99/month): Enterprise solution for moving companies

Paid subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store in accordance with their respective billing terms. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

We do not offer refunds except where required by applicable law or app store policies. To cancel, manage your subscription through your App Store or Google Play account settings.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
  • Upload or transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service, including inventory descriptions, photos, and project data (“Your Content”). By submitting Your Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display it solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of Your Content. We do not review, endorse, or take responsibility for content submitted by users.

7. QR Codes & Label Generation

QR codes and labels generated by the Service are provided for personal and commercial moving and inventory management purposes. You may not use the QR code generation features to create labels for deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal purposes.

8. Team Collaboration

When you invite team members to your project, you are responsible for ensuring they are aware of and agree to these Terms. You are accountable for the actions of team members within your projects.

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in the Service, including the Movaroo name, logo, software, and content created by us, is owned by or licensed to Movaroo. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our intellectual property other than as necessary to use the Service.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. You use the Service at your own risk.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MOVAROO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@movaroo.app. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the effective date above and notify you through the app or by email for material changes. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the jurisdiction where Movaroo is headquartered.
